SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe 64 GB — all metal, 400 MB/s, USB-C
Up to 400 MB/s readUSB Type-C + USB Type-AAll-metal casing64 GB
The SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe is a 64 GB flash drive with a USB Type-C connector at one end and a full-size USB-A at the other, in a cast all-metal body — part number SDDDC4-064G-G46. Plug the USB-C end into a phone or tablet, the USB-A end into any computer, and move files directly with no cable and no cloud account. At this capacity SanDisk rates it at up to 400 MB/s read. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This drive needs a phone or tablet with a USB-C port and OTG support, which covers essentially every recent Android device and iPhone 15 or later. It will not work with a Lightning iPhone (iPhone 14 and earlier) or a micro-USB phone. The 400 MB/s figure needs a USB 3.0 or faster port; in an old USB 2.0 socket it still works, at USB 2.0 speed. Note that speed varies by capacity across this range — the 32 GB reads at up to 150 MB/s, not 400.
Best For
✓ Pulling 4K video and photo libraries off a phone quickly
✓ Freeing up phone storage without paying for cloud space
✓ Moving large files between a USB-C laptop and an older USB-A desktop
✓ A drive that lives on a keyring and has to survive it
✓ Handing a client a drive that looks and feels solid
✓ Anyone who found a cheap USB-C stick painfully slow
Key Features
Up to 400 MB/s read at 64 GB
This is the capacity where the Luxe is genuinely faster than the cheaper Dual Drive Go, which reads at up to 300 MB/s at 64 GB. At 32 GB the two are identical at 150, so the size you pick changes the answer. SanDisk publishes no write speed, so we do not quote one.
All-metal body
SanDisk describes an all-metal casing — the clearest published difference from the Dual Drive Go, which weighs 3.5 g against this drive’s 12.2 g at identical dimensions.
USB-C and USB-A on one drive
A swivel body puts a USB Type-C plug at one end and full-size USB-A at the other, and covers whichever one is not in use. There is a keyring hole in the swivel.
64 GB of phone offload
Enough for roughly 16,000 to 20,000 phone photos, or around two hours of 4K video — our own estimate, since the real figure depends on your phone and its settings.

Singular Expert Insight
At 64 GB this is the sweet spot of SanDisk’s USB-C range, because it is the one capacity where the Luxe is meaningfully faster than the cheaper Dual Drive Go rather than just prettier. Against the older Ultra Dual Drive in our USB flash drives range, it is roughly two and a half times the read speed with a metal body instead of plastic. The two things it cannot do are work with a Lightning iPhone and act as an adapter. If what you want is more storage inside the phone rather than a drive to carry, look at our SD cards range instead, assuming your phone still has a slot.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You want to move photos and video between a USB-C phone and a computer quickly, and you want a metal drive that will survive a keyring.
Skip it if
You have a Lightning iPhone, or you only ever plug drives into a computer, in which case a plain USB-A drive costs less for the same room.
Also consider
SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Go 128GB for the same 400 MB/s at a larger size for less, or the SanDisk Ultra Luxe if the drive only ever meets computers.
