SanDisk Ultra 32GB SDHC UHS-I Memory Card for Cameras, Up to 120MB/s Read (SDSDUN4-032G-GN6IN)

⭐ It is an SDHC card, which means it works in older cameras too. Any camera or reader that takes SD or SDHC will read it. Newer devices that expect SDXC read it as well — SDHC is the older, more widely supported format, and at 32 GB that is what this card is.

● The 120 MB/s is the READ speed — how fast you get photos off the card, not how fast the camera writes to it. This matters, because you will see 120 MB/s quoted elsewhere as a write speed. It is not. SanDisk does not publish a write speed for this card at all, and we will not invent one. For still photography this is rarely an issue; for continuous burst shooting or video, write speed is what counts and you should choose a card that states one.

⚠️ You will only see the full 120 MB/s in a fast reader. The standard SD connection (UHS-I) carries about 104 MB/s, and SanDisk says its higher figure “requires compatible devices capable of reaching such speeds”. In an ordinary laptop card slot, expect around 104 MB/s. That is the connection, not the card.

● If your camera asks for a specific video speed class, ask us first. Many cameras require a rating such as V30 or U3 to record video reliably. SanDisk does not publish a class rating for this card, so we cannot promise it meets one. Tell us your camera model and we will check what it needs before you order.

Durability. SanDisk describes this card as waterproof, shockproof, X-ray proof and temperature proof — useful reassurance for a card that travels. ⚠️ These are manufacturer claims with no independent certification behind them, so treat them as good design rather than a guarantee.

✓ Compact and mid-range cameras that take a full-size SD card

✓ A laptop or desktop card reader

✓ Older cameras that need SDHC rather than SDXC

✓ Everyday photography where 32 GB is plenty

A straightforward, reliable card for a camera or a laptop card slot, and at 32 GB it is a sensible size for most people — around 4,000 photos. Two things are worth knowing before you buy, and both are the sort of detail that gets quoted wrongly elsewhere. First, the 120 MB/s is a read speed: it tells you how fast you get photos off the card, not how fast your camera writes to it, and SanDisk publishes no write figure at all. Second, no video speed class is published for this card — so if your camera specifies V30 or U3 for recording, tell us the model and we will check what it actually needs before you order. For still photography neither point is likely to affect you. You will also see the full 120 MB/s only in a fast reader; a normal laptop slot tops out around 104 MB/s. Browse our memory cards and readers or ask us and we will match a card to your camera. Our 1-year warranty and local support apply.
