The VALUE 11.99.5522 by Secomp is a 2 m cable with a DVI-D (18+1) single-link plug on one end and an HDMI Type A plug on the other, for linking a PC or graphics card with DVI output to an HDMI monitor or TV, or an HDMI laptop to a DVI monitor. It carries digital video up to 1920 × 1200 at 60 Hz through a double-shielded cable with gold-plated contacts.

Compatibility note: DVI does not carry audio, so sound must be routed separately (for example via a 3.5 mm cable or the PC speakers). Single-link DVI is limited to about 1920 × 1200 at 60 Hz — not suitable for 1440p/4K or high-refresh gaming monitors.

Can I use the 11.99.5522 in both directions?
Yes in practice: DVI-D and HDMI use the same digital TMDS signalling, so a passive cable like this works from a DVI graphics card to an HDMI screen and from an HDMI source to a DVI monitor. Secomp does not publish a direction restriction.
Will HDCP-protected video play through this cable?
Playback of protected content depends on the source and display both supporting HDCP over DVI. Most modern DVI monitors do; older DVI panels without HDCP may show a blank screen for streaming services or Blu-ray.
