Sharkoon SilentStorm BW120 PWM 120 mm Case Fan — Black

120 mm450–1400 RPM89 m³/h28 dB(A)

The Sharkoon SilentStorm BW120 PWM is a 120 mm non-RGB case fan with a fluid dynamic bearing and 450–1400 RPM PWM control, made for users who want quiet, reliable cooling. Part number (EAN) 4044951037971 is the black version, supplied with interchangeable black and white vibration dampers. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.

Compatibility Note
Requires 120 mm fan mounts (105 mm hole spacing) and a 4-pin PWM header. Several fans can be connected in series; keep the total current (0.15 A per fan) within the header rating.

Key Features

Quiet FDB operation
A fluid dynamic bearing rated for at least 50,000 hours keeps noise at a maximum of 28 dB(A).

PWM speed control
450–1400 RPM (±10%) with up to 89 m³/h airflow and 1.31 mmH2O static pressure, controlled by your motherboard fan curve.

Swappable dampers
Black and white vibration dampers are included, so you can match the fan to a dark or white build while reducing vibration noise.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Sharkoon SilentStorm BW120 PWM have RGB lighting?
No. The BW120 PWM is a non-RGB fan. Sharkoon's SilentStorm 120 PWM (EAN 4044951035335) is the version with 9 ARGB LEDs.
Is the SilentStorm BW120 PWM quiet enough for a home office PC?
Yes. It peaks at 28 dB(A) at 1400 RPM and runs much quieter at lower PWM speeds thanks to its fluid dynamic bearing.
What's the difference between the BW120 PWM and the SilentStorm 120 PWM?
The BW120 PWM (450–1400 RPM, 89 m³/h, 1.31 mmH2O) is a plain black fan with black/white dampers. The SilentStorm 120 PWM adds ARGB lighting and offers 93.6 m³/h and 1.91 mmH2O.
What do I need to know before buying the SilentStorm BW120 PWM?
It is a single 120 mm, 25 mm thick fan with a 4-pin PWM connector. With 1.31 mmH2O it is best as a case fan rather than for thick radiators.
Singular Expert Insight
The SilentStorm BW120 PWM is a sensible, quiet replacement for noisy stock case fans, and the white dampers make it an easy fit for white builds too. For radiator duty choose a higher-pressure model from our case fans range.

Buyer's Guide

Buy it if
You want a quiet, non-RGB 120 mm case fan with FDB and PWM control at a low price.
Skip it if
You need RGB lighting or high static pressure for a radiator.
Also consider
Sharkoon SilentStorm 120 PWM (ARGB) or ARCTIC P12 Pro PST for higher pressure.
