Silicon Power Armor A66 2TB — All-Around Rugged Drive
2 TB CapacityIPX4 Water-ResistantMIL-STD Shockproof360 Bumper
The Silicon Power Armor A66 (SP020TBPHD66SS3Y) is a 2TB rugged portable external hard drive with IPX4 water resistance, military-grade shock protection and a 360-degree all-around bumper, built for adventurers, field professionals and anyone who works in tough conditions. The part number SP020TBPHD66SS3Y identifies the 2TB black-and-yellow model in the Armor A66 range. A full-body bumper plus an advanced internal suspension system absorb impact from every angle, while the wrap-around cable design keeps everything together. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Good to know — splash-proof, not submersible
IPX4 means the Armor A66 resists water sprayed from any direction for several minutes, but it is not rated for full immersion, so do not submerge it. The USB port sits behind a cover; the drive ships NTFS-formatted, so reformat to exFAT or HFS+ for full Mac compatibility.

Key Features
360-degree all-around bumper
A full-body bumper wraps every edge and corner, combining with an advanced internal suspension system to absorb impact force from any direction.
IPX4 water resistance
The sealed design resists water sprayed from all directions for several minutes, so rain, splashes and spills will not stop your work outdoors.
Military-grade shockproof
Meets the MIL-STD-810G transit drop test, so the drive is built to survive the knocks and drops of demanding environments.
Cable-carry & USB 3.2 Gen 1
A 5 Gbps SuperSpeed interface (USB 3.0) gives quick transfers, and the cable wraps around the body so it is always ready and protected.

Singular Expert Insight
The Armor A66 is the toughest drive in Silicon Power's portable line, with a full 360-degree bumper that goes beyond the A60's protection — useful if your drive takes real abuse on site or on the trail. Both share the same IPX4 splash rating, so choose the A66 for maximum drop protection and the larger capacity options. If you need speed or a smaller drive, a portable SSD is the alternative, but no SSD at this price matches the rugged value of this portable hard drive.
Buyer's Guide
Buy it if
You want the toughest rugged 2TB drive with full 360-degree drop protection and IPX4 splash resistance for outdoor, field or travel use.
Skip it if
You need full submersion (no portable HDD here is submersible), SSD speed, or the slimmest drive — this is a rugged mechanical HDD.
Also consider
The Armor A60 for a slimmer rugged drive at lower cost, the 4TB/5TB A66 for more space, or a portable SSD for speed.
