Silicon Power Elite 32GB SDHC — Full-Size SD Card, Class 10 UHS-I U1
32GB SDHCClass 10 · UHS-I U1Up to 85 MB/s readFits older cameras
The Silicon Power Elite SP032GBSDHAU1V10 is a 32GB full-size SDHC memory card rated Class 10 and UHS Speed Class U1, with a published read speed of up to 85 MB/s. It is made for compact cameras, camcorders, audio recorders and any device with a standard SD slot. At 32GB it sits exactly on the SDHC ceiling — the largest capacity the SDHC standard defines — which makes it the biggest card that a camera body predating SDXC will still accept. Silicon Power describes the Elite line as shockproof, waterproof and X-ray-proof, with automatic ECC error correction working in the background.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This is a full-size SD card, not microSD — it will not fit a phone, a drone, a GoPro or a Nintendo Switch. It is SDHC, formatted FAT32, and 32GB is the largest capacity SDHC allows: anything above it is SDXC, which older bodies reject. FAT32 also means a single file cannot exceed 4 GB, so a long recording will be split into several clips by the camera itself. Class 10 and U1 both guarantee a 10 MB/s minimum sustained write, which covers Full HD 1080p but is not enough for 4K video — 4K is specified against U3 or V30. Silicon Power publishes no write speed for this line at any capacity, only the 85 MB/s read, so we quote no write figure. Its memory-card warranty terms also exclude dashcams, security cameras and other continuous-recording devices. Not sure what your camera takes? Tell us the model and we will check it for you.
Best For
✓ Compact and bridge cameras with a standard SD slot
✓ Older camcorders and DSLRs that reject SDXC cards
✓ Handheld audio and field recorders
✓ Full HD 1080p video and everyday JPEG shooting
✓ An inexpensive spare to keep in the camera bag
✓ Devices that only ever need a small, reliable card
Key Features
SDHC means broad compatibility
Because the card is SDHC and FAT32 rather than SDXC and exFAT, it is read by camera bodies, camcorders and readers that predate the SDXC standard. On a modern device it simply works; on an older one it may be the only card that works at all.
Class 10 with UHS-I U1, up to 85 MB/s read
Both class marks guarantee at least 10 MB/s of sustained write, the level Full HD 1080p is specified against. Silicon Power publishes 85 MB/s read across the Elite range and no write figure at all, and hedges even the read as varying with the host and reader.
Built for a camera bag
Silicon Power states the Elite line is approved by testing for shockproof, waterproof and X-ray-proof operation, and the card runs automatic ECC error correction that repairs bit errors as they appear. No IP rating is published, so treat it as splash-tolerant rather than submersible.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this card fit my phone or my action camera?
No. This is a full-size SD card, about 32 x 24 mm, and phones, drones and action cameras take the much smaller microSD format. It belongs in devices with a standard SD slot: compact and bridge cameras, DSLRs, camcorders, audio recorders and most laptop card slots. If you need microSD, ask us and we will point you at the right part instead.
Is 32GB enough, and what will it hold?
As a working guide, 32GB holds roughly 4,000 fine-quality JPEGs from a typical compact camera, or about three to four hours of Full HD 1080p video at ordinary bitrates. It is also the largest card an SDHC-only camera can take, so for those bodies it is not just a size choice — it is the ceiling.
Can I record 4K video on this card?
Not reliably. The card is Class 10 and UHS-I U1, which guarantees 10 MB/s of sustained write, the level Full HD is specified against. 4K recording is normally specified against U3 or V30, which guarantee 30 MB/s, and some cameras refuse to start 4K recording on a U1 card at all. For 4K, choose a U3 or V30 card.
Singular Expert Insight
The reason to choose a 32GB SDHC card today is compatibility, not capacity, and 32GB is the interesting number: it is the top of the SDHC standard. Every card above it is SDXC and uses exFAT, and a camera body or camcorder built before that standard arrived will either not see an SDXC card or refuse to format it. So if your device is SDHC-only, this is the largest card it can ever use — there is nothing to step up to. Within Silicon Power’s own range the Elite sits well below the CreatePro CR60D and CR90D UHS-II cards, which are far faster but wasted in a host that cannot use their second row of pins, and which are SDXC in any case. If your camera is newer and you shoot 4K or RAW bursts, step up to a U3 or V30 card instead — browse the rest of our
SD cards, or add a
card reader if the machine you offload to has no SD slot. Tell us the camera model and we will confirm which card it takes before you order.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
Your camera, camcorder or recorder has a standard SD slot and you want an inexpensive card that is certain to work. Your device is SDHC-only, in which case 32GB is the largest card it will ever accept. You shoot Full HD video and JPEGs rather than 4K and RAW. You want a spare to keep in the bag.
Skip it if
You shoot 4K video or fast RAW bursts — you need a U3 or V30 card, not U1. You need microSD for a phone, drone or action camera, because this is the full-size format. You want one long unbroken video file, which FAT32 caps at 4 GB. You are buying for a dashcam or a security camera, a use Silicon Power’s warranty terms exclude.
Also consider
A 64GB or larger SDXC card if your camera supports SDXC and 32GB feels tight. A U3 or V30 card if 4K is on the menu. A CreatePro CR60D if you shoot professionally and have a UHS-II body and reader. A USB card reader if the machine you offload to has no SD slot.
