The Snom D120 is an entry-level IP desk phone in black, designed for large deployments in hotels, clinics, schools and offices. It supports two SIP identities with two simultaneous calls, a backlit 2.6-inch 132×64 monochrome display, wideband G.722 HD audio, two programmable function keys and a 360-degree LED notification lamp that shows missed calls and messages from any angle.

In practice, the D120 is a no-fuss phone for desks that mainly make and receive calls. It powers from a PoE switch over one network cable; there is a single 10/100 port, so the computer needs its own network connection rather than passing through the phone.

Compatibility — check before buying:
No power supply in the box: use a PoE (802.3af) switch or injector, or order Snom’s adapter (part 00004570) separately. It has one network port only — no PC pass-through. Wall mounting needs the optional D120 WM kit (part 00004113). Not sure it suits your setup? Tell us your VoIP provider or phone system and how the desk is cabled, and we check it for you.

Manufacturer Term Snom publishes a 36-month warranty for desk phones bought from 1 July 2018 onwards for this product. Singular’s direct warranty is 1 year; beyond that we assist you with the manufacturer’s warranty process for its full duration.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it work without a phone system?
No. Snom’s D120 is a SIP phone: it needs a SIP account from a VoIP provider or an extension on an office IP PBX, and it connects over the computer network, not to a normal analogue phone line. Tell us which provider or phone system you use and we confirm the setup before you order.
Is a power supply included?
No. Snom sells the D120 without a power supply. Power it from an 802.3af PoE switch or injector, or add Snom’s 00004570 adapter to your order.
Can my PC connect through the phone?
No. The D120 has a single 10/100 network port, so the computer needs its own network cable. If you need a PC port, ask us about Snom’s D140 or D150.
What warranty do I get?
Singular gives a 1-year direct warranty on the D120. Snom publishes a 36-month warranty for its desk phones. Beyond our first year we help you with the manufacturer’s process, so you are not left to deal with it alone.
