STAEDTLER Noris 120 HB Graphite Pencils, Counter Display of 72, Hexagonal, Upcycled Wood, Break-Resistant Lead
STAEDTLER Noris 120 — HB Graphite Pencils, Counter Display of 72
The STAEDTLER Noris 120-2 KP72 is a counter display holding 72 Noris HB graphite pencils — the classic yellow-and-black hexagonal school and office pencil, now made from upcycled wood — for offices, schools, print shops and stationery counters that go through pencils in volume.
HB is the middle grade: dark enough to read and photocopy, hard enough to keep a point and not smudge on forms and notes. The display box doubles as dispenser, so 72 pencils sit upright on a desk, reception counter or classroom shelf and people can take one as needed.
What's in the Box
- 72 × STAEDTLER Noris 120 graphite pencils, hardness HB
- 1 × counter display box (dispenser)
- No sharpener or erasers included
What It Means in Practice
- One display covers a classroom, a training room or an office floor for a long time; buying by the display is the usual way schools and businesses stock pencils.
- HB is the grade most forms, multiple-choice sheets and general writing call for; for sketching or darker lines choose B or 2B, for fine technical lines H or 2H.
- The hexagonal shape keeps the pencil from rolling off desks, and STAEDTLER's super-bonded lead is designed to resist breaking when dropped or sharpened.
- STAEDTLER recommends its sharpeners 511 004, 511 120 or 510 50 for a clean point.
What Will Not Work
- This display is HB only — it does not contain mixed grades (2B, B, H, 2H are separate articles).
- No erasers: the Noris 120 is the plain-end version; choose a Noris rubber-tip pencil if you want an eraser on the end.
- Not for touchscreens — for tablets see the Noris digital EMR styluses.
- Not a coloured or watercolour pencil; graphite only.
