The STAEDTLER Lumocolor 351 is a dry-wipe whiteboard marker with a round bullet tip, supplied as a set of six assorted colours in a stand-up STAEDTLER box — the everyday marker for meeting rooms, classrooms and planning boards where people write notes, lists and diagrams.
The bullet tip draws an even line of approximately 2 mm in any direction, which makes normal handwriting easy to keep neat. The ink dries fast, has a low odour and wipes off whiteboards and other smooth surfaces such as glass and porcelain without residue. With STAEDTLER DRY SAFE ink, a marker left uncapped will not have dried out by the next meeting, even after several days.
Before you order: This is the bullet-tip 351. If you need bold headings that read from the back of a room, the chisel-tip 351 B (approx. 2-5 mm) is the better choice. For flipchart paper, use the Lumocolor 356 flipchart marker — whiteboard ink is designed to wipe off smooth surfaces.

What It Means in Practice
- The round tip writes the same width whichever way you hold it — good for people who write a lot of text on the board.

What Will Not Work
- Flipchart pads and paper — use the Lumocolor 356 flipchart marker for paper.
- Porous, rough or textured surfaces (wood, cardboard, painted walls) — dry-wipe needs a smooth, non-porous surface.
- Permanent labelling — the ink is made to be wiped off.
- Large bold headings — a 2 mm line is for text; take the chisel-tip 351 B for presentation lettering.
