The Star Micronics TSP143IIU+ (P/N 39472730, EU grey version) is the world's standard USB thermal POS receipt printer. It prints 80mm receipts at up to 200 mm/sec at 203 dpi (48 / 64 columns depending on paper width), with a guillotine autocutter rated for 2 million cuts and a printhead rated for 60 million lines. The internal power supply removes the desktop ″brick″, USB 2.0 with Virtual COM emulator drops into virtually any POS application, and Star's free futurePRNT software lets you redesign receipts with logos, coupons and multi-copy/journal tools. Wall-mount kit and 58mm paper guide are included — everything you need in the box.

Star's free included software suite for the TSP100 series. It lets you re-design receipts, add logos and coupons, enable Auto-Text Reversal, create journals and print multi-copy receipts. Pairs with Star Cloud Services for digital receipting.
Can it use 58mm rolls too?
Yes — the 58mm paper guide is included in the box. Default support is 80mm; fit the guide to switch to 58mm.
Why does it have a Virtual Serial Port?
The TSP143IIU+ exposes a Virtual Serial Port over USB so legacy POS applications that expect a COM port (RS-232) can drive it without changes. Most modern POS apps use the futurePRNT driver instead.
Is the power supply external or internal?
Internal — only a standard power cable is needed. No bulky external power adapter on the counter.
