Starlink Mini combines a satellite terminal and a Wi-Fi router in one portable unit. Place it where it has a clear view of the sky, connect power, align it using the Starlink app and connect your phone or computer to its Wi-Fi. This is one hardware kit, including a kickstand, pipe adapter, 15 m DC power cable, power supply and Starlink port plug. Internet use requires a separately activated Starlink account and service plan; the hardware purchase is not a prepaid internet subscription.
Before you order:
Before ordering, check Starlink service availability, kit activation eligibility, country of registration and the plan permitted for your intended location and use. A clear sky view and continuous suitable power are required. The terminal is IP67 only with the specified cable/port sealing; a standard RJ45 cable removes that rating. Confirm the regional mains-plug type for your installation.

What It Means in Practice
- For example, at a remote workspace, use the app obstruction tool to find an open position, set the Mini on its kickstand and run the supplied 15 m DC cable to the power supply. Activate an eligible service plan, follow the alignment prompt, then connect a laptop by Wi-Fi. The integrated router means that a separate router is not needed for this basic setup.
- Satellite connectivity supplies the internet connection; Wi-Fi 5 distributes it locally. The specified Wi-Fi coverage and 128-device limit do not guarantee satellite download speed. Plan, location, obstructions and network conditions affect the service. Portable operation still needs power: optional USB-C use requires a 100 W, 20 V / 5 A PD source and the separate Starlink cable accessory.
What Will Not Work
- The hardware alone does not provide an ongoing internet service without activation and a suitable Starlink plan. A kit still assigned to another account cannot simply be activated as a new kit.
- Trees, roof structures and other sky obstructions can interrupt service. Do not assume portable hardware means unrestricted use in every country or on every moving vehicle.
- A standard phone charger is not sufficient for the documented USB-C PD accessory requirement; the USB-C cable is not included in the basic kit.

The flat electronic phased-array terminal contains a dual-band Wi-Fi 5 router with 3 x 3 MU-MIMO. It gives your devices a local wireless connection without requiring a separate router for the basic installation.
Portable with defined power needs
The Mini weighs 1.10 kg alone, or 1.53 kg with the kickstand and 15 m cable. Average consumption is 25–40 W. Choose a power arrangement around the full input requirements rather than treating the average consumption as a charger rating.
A wired option with a sealing condition
One Ethernet LAN port can connect wired hardware. Keep the Starlink plug installed when the port is unused, and use the appropriate Starlink cable when the IP67 installation rating is required.
Manual alignment guided by the app
The app helps check sky obstructions and orient the 110° field-of-view antenna. The terminal is rated for -30–50 °C operation and snow melt up to 25 mm/hour, subject to the documented installation conditions.
