The StarTech.com RK1232WALHM is a deep 12U, 19″ hinged wall-mount network cabinet with four mounting posts. Its rails adjust from 6 to 60.9 cm of mounting depth, with square and threaded holes, so it takes deeper devices than most wall cabinets — short servers, NVRs and rack UPS units as well as switches. The cabinet swings out on hinges for rear access, carries up to 90 kg, and has a lockable steel mesh front door and lockable, removable side panels. Four optional 120 mm fans can be fitted. It arrives fully assembled with a 1U shelf. In practice it brings server-style depth to a wall installation.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Deep off the wall: the cabinet is 85.1 cm deep, so check the room and the door swing before ordering. Wall load: 45.1 kg for the cabinet plus up to 90 kg of equipment needs a structural wall and rated anchors, which are not included. Devices longer than 60.9 cm will not fit. Send us the models of the devices you want to install and we check depth, height and weight for you.
