The StarTech.com RK15WALLO is a 15U, 19 inch 2-post open-frame rack that mounts on a wall and holds up to 90 kg of patch panels, switches and other shallow network equipment. It is the classic choice for a small office, shop or classroom comms point where a floor cabinet would take too much space.
The frame is cold-rolled SPCC steel in black, conforms to EIA/ECA-310-E, and uses square-hole rails with M6 cage nuts. The wall holes are spaced 16 inches apart to line up with typical stud spacing, and the rack ships flat-packed for assembly on site.
Before you order: Maximum mounting depth is 30.3 cm (11.9 in): ideal for patch panels, cable managers and wall-depth switches, but full-depth servers and most UPS units will not fit. Wall anchors are not included — the wall must be able to carry at least four times the equipment weight, per StarTech.com.
