The StarTech.com SHELF-1U-12-FIXED-V is a 1U vented fixed cantilever shelf for 19-inch racks and cabinets that holds up to 25 kg of non-rackmount equipment on a 305 mm (12 in) deep surface. It is sized for modems, routers, Wi-Fi access points, small switches and other devices that come without rack ears.
It is made from 2 mm SPCC commercial-grade cold-rolled steel and complies with EIA/ECA-310-E, so it fits standard 19-inch rails. StarTech.com lists compatibility with EIA-310 racks from APC, Dell, Lenovo and HPE. The vented surface lets air rise through the shelf to the equipment above.
Before you order: StarTech.com sells this shelf in two versions: SHELF-1U-12-FIXED-V (vented) and SHELF-1U-12-FIXED-S. This is the vented model.
