Singular Expert Insight
StarTech.com hybrid AOCs are a good match for commercial installations: CMP plenum rating, full HDMI 2.1 bandwidth and a thin, bend-tolerant cable. They cost more than consumer AOCs, so for exposed runs in homes a non-plenum HDMI 2.1 AOC is usually enough.
✓ Buy it if you need an HDMI 2.1 run through a plenum ceiling or a commercial AV installation.
✕ Skip it if the run is exposed in a living room and no plenum rating is required.
