StarTech.com 1U Vented Cantilever Rack Shelves for 19-inch Racks, 25 cm (10 in) Deep, 20 kg Each, Steel, Black, 2-Pack

The StarTech.com CABSHELFV1U-2PK is a pair of 1U vented cantilever shelves, 25 cm (10 in) deep and rated at 20 kg each, that mount to the front rails of a 19-inch rack or wall cabinet, for anyone who needs to place small non-rack devices — modems, routers, small switches, power bricks — inside a shallow rack.

At only 25 cm deep, these shelves fit shallow wall cabinets and 2-post racks where longer shelves will not. The perforated tray allows air to circulate and gives plenty of tie-down points for cables and power adapters.

• 2 × 1U fixed vented shelves (black)
• 8 × M6 screws, 8 × M6 nuts, 8 × plastic washers
• Product documentation

• Two shelves in one box: typically one for the ISP modem and router, one for power adapters or a small switch.
• 25 cm depth suits shallow wall cabinets, where 40 cm or deeper shelves would hit the back wall.
• Vented base lets heat escape and gives slots for cable ties.
• Each shelf uses 1U; plan extra U above for the devices themselves.

• Devices deeper than about 25 cm, such as desktop PCs or larger NVRs.
• Loads above 20 kg per shelf.
• 10-inch racks — shelves are 19-inch wide.
• Pull-out access — these are fixed shelves.
