StarTech.com USB-C Charging Cable — 2 m, 60 W (3A) Power Delivery, Braided Nylon, White
60 W (3A) Power DeliveryDual-layer braided nylon±90° bend testedLifetime warranty
The StarTech.com USB-C Charging Cable, product ID USB2CC2MNCBRWH, is a 2 m (6.6 ft) white USB-C to USB-C lead built for one job done properly: charging. It carries 60 W (20 V at 3 A) USB Power Delivery, which covers phones, tablets, and the large majority of USB-C laptops that ship with a 45 W or 65 W-class charger. The jacket is dual-layer — a flexible TPE inner layer with a braided nylon exterior — and StarTech.com tests it to withstand repeated ±90° bends, which is what a cable in a bag actually endures. Connectors are nickel-plated and rated beyond 10,000 insertions, with performance markings etched on them so the cable can be identified at a glance. Data runs at USB 2.0, 480 Mbps. StarTech.com backs it with a lifetime warranty. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Read the two limits before ordering, because both are deliberate. First, USB-C video (DisplayPort Alt Mode) is not supported — StarTech.com states this explicitly. This cable will not drive a monitor, dock a laptop to a display, or carry Thunderbolt; for that you need a full-featured USB-C or Thunderbolt cable. Second, data is USB 2.0 at 480 Mbps, not 10 or 20 Gbps, so it is fine for syncing a phone or moving documents and wrong for an external SSD. Power is 60 W maximum (3 A): a laptop that needs 87 W or 100 W will charge, but slowly, and a 240 W EPR device will not reach its rated rate. It has no E-Marker for currents above 3 A. Within those bounds it is universally compatible with USB-C PD devices. Operating range is -20 °C to 40 °C at 30–70% RH.
Key Features
60 W USB Power Delivery, 3 A
The right power class for the majority of real devices: phones, tablets, Nintendo Switch, and USB-C laptops in the 45–65 W bracket such as most ultrabooks. It is enough to charge at full rate rather than trickle, which is where cheap unmarked USB-C cables fall down.
Dual-layer TPE and braided nylon jacket
The TPE inner layer keeps the cable flexible and the nylon braid takes the abrasion. That combination is what stops the classic failure — the jacket splitting at the connector neck after a few hundred trips in and out of a bag.
Tested for repeated ±90° bends
StarTech.com tests to frequent 90-degree flexing in both directions, which is the specific stress a charging cable meets when it is wrapped, pocketed and pulled sideways out of a laptop on a desk edge.
Nickel-plated connectors, 10,000+ insertions
A charging cable is plugged and unplugged more often than almost any other accessory in a bag. Nickel plating resists the contact corrosion that produces intermittent charging, and the insertion rating reflects a connector built for daily cycling.
Performance markings on the connectors
The specification is printed on the plug itself. In a drawer of visually identical black USB-C cables, that is the difference between knowing this one is a 60 W charge cable and finding out by trial when a monitor fails to come up.

Singular Expert Insight
USB-C is a single connector hiding at least four different cables, and the resulting confusion is where most of the frustration with it comes from. This one is honest about what it is: a 60 W charging cable with USB 2.0 data and no video. That is the right specification for the majority of what people actually plug in — phones, tablets, ultrabooks — and the wrong one for a monitor, a dock or a fast external drive. Buy it knowing that, and it is a well-built cable: 60 W is the sweet spot for laptop charging, the dual-layer braided jacket addresses the real failure mode, and the printed performance markings mean you can tell it apart from the video-capable cables in the same drawer. Browse our docking stations range if you need video and data over USB-C, and see our laptop power supplies section for the USB-C chargers this cable pairs with.
Buyer's Guide
Buy it if
You need a durable 2 m USB-C charging cable for a phone, tablet or a laptop in the 45–65 W class, and you want a braided jacket that survives daily bag use.
Skip it if
You need to drive a display over USB-C, run an external SSD at USB 3.x speeds, or charge above 60 W — none of which this cable is built for.
Also consider
Full-featured USB-C cables with DisplayPort Alt Mode for monitors and docks, USB4 or Thunderbolt cables for high-speed storage, or 100 W and 240 W USB-C cables for workstation-class laptops.
