The StarTech.com 303UE-TB5-HUB is a 4-port Thunderbolt 5 hub that expands one Thunderbolt 5 or USB4 port on a laptop into three downstream Thunderbolt 5 ports at up to 80Gbps plus a USB-A 10Gbps port, while charging the laptop at up to 140W. It targets creative professionals and IT fleets that need multiple high-resolution displays, fast NVMe storage and daisy-chained Thunderbolt devices.

Through its downstream ports the hub supports displays up to 8K 60Hz or 4K 144Hz, dual 6K 60Hz on MacBook Air and entry MacBook Pro, and up to triple 4K 144Hz on MacBook Pro with M5 Pro. Included Thunderbolt Share software lets two Windows PCs share one keyboard, mouse and display over a single Thunderbolt cable, with file transfer and PC migration.

The rugged aluminium chassis has a Kensington K-slot, power button and a 40 x 40 mm VESA pattern for mounting behind a monitor. A 1 m Thunderbolt 5 host cable and a 180W power adapter with EU and UK plugs are included; downstream TB5 ports supply 15W and the USB-A port 7.5W.

Compatibility note: Thunderbolt 3 hosts are not supported (except Apple M1/M2/M3 base-chip Macs). Displays connect through the TB5/USB-C ports, so monitors without USB-C/Thunderbolt input need a USB-C to DisplayPort or HDMI cable; on Mac, HDMI via adapter is limited to 4K 60Hz.
