StarTech.com 315B-USBC-MULTIPORT USB-C to HDMI Multiport Adapter with 140W PD
4K 60Hz HDMI140W PD 3.1 pass-through5x USB 5GbpsGigabit Ethernet
The StarTech.com 315B-USBC-MULTIPORT is a USB-C multiport adapter that converts one laptop USB-C port into a 4K 60Hz HDMI output, three USB-C and two USB-A 5Gbps ports, Gigabit Ethernet and up to 140W USB Power Delivery 3.1 pass-through. It is intended for users moving to USB-C peripherals who still need USB-A for older devices.
One of the USB-C ports is dual-role: connect a USB-C charger to pass up to 140W through to the laptop (maximum laptop charging 120W), or use it as a 5Gbps data port. Gigabit Ethernet (Realtek RTL8153B) supports PXE and Wake-on-LAN, and the aluminium and plastic body has a 20.3 cm attached cable.
Compatibility note: The laptop USB-C port must support DisplayPort Alt Mode for video and USB Power Delivery for pass-through charging; pass-through needs a separate USB-C charger connected to the PD input port. USB ports run at 5Gbps; choose the 177B or 305B for 10Gbps USB.
Key Features

More USB-C ports
Three USB-C and two USB-A 5Gbps ports ease the move to USB-C peripherals without losing legacy support.
Wired Gigabit LAN
Stable Ethernet with PXE boot and Wake-on-LAN for managed IT deployments.

Singular Expert Insight
The 315B is the right choice when a user's accessories are shifting to USB-C: three USB-C data ports is more than most travel adapters offer. The trade-off is 5Gbps USB and Gigabit rather than 2.5GbE. Compare our docking stations and USB-C multiport adapters.
✓ Buy it if you need several USB-C and USB-A ports plus 4K HDMI and 140W charging from one laptop port.
✕ Skip it if you need 10Gbps USB for fast SSDs or two displays.
→ Also consider the 177B-USBC-MULTIPORT (10Gbps USB, 2.5GbE) or the 309B-USBC-HUB for a compact USB-C-only hub.
