The StarTech.com HB31C3A1CME is a four-port 10 Gbps hub in a steel industrial case that ships with everything: a 36 W adapter, a terminal block for panel power, and both a USB-C-to-C and a USB-A-to-C screw-lock host cable, so it connects to a new USB-C industrial PC or an older USB-A one. It suits machine vision cameras, high-speed scanners and SSD-based logging on a bench or in an enclosure.
Compatibility — check before buying:
The downstream USB-C port is data and 5 V charging only — no Power Delivery, no video, no laptop charging. StarTech lists 4.5 W per port in its spec table and BC 1.2 charging with 30 W available in total in its description, so expect charging to share that 30 W. Mounting is by built-in wall/surface ears; no DIN-rail bracket is included on this model (the HB31C5A2CME has one). Operating range 0–55 °C.
