The StarTech.com SFPGLCSXMMST, part number SFPGLCSXMMST, is a Cisco GLC-SX-MM compatible 1000BASE-SX SFP transceiver that delivers 1 Gigabit Ethernet over multimode fiber at distances up to 550 m. It uses an LC duplex connector at 850 nm and is hot-swappable, programmed to be 100% compatible with Cisco switches while also working in MSA-compliant equipment from other vendors. Built and tested for enterprise reliability and backed by a lifetime warranty (lifetime of the module). Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Compatibility
100% compatible with Cisco GLC-SX-MM and Cisco switches including IE3400, IE3300, IE3200, ME1200 and ME2400. Also works with MSA-compliant switches that accept uncoded modules from Ubiquiti, D-Link, Netgear, Supermicro, TP-Link and others. Requires multimode fibre with LC duplex connectors; for a Gigabit link, use a matching 1000BASE-SX module at the far end. This is a multimode (550 m) module — for longer single-mode runs use a 1000BASE-LX/LH module such as the StarTech SFPG1320C.
