The StarTech.com MPOSMAPCGNCOUPLER is a passive green MPO/MTP coupler that joins two multi-fibre trunk or breakout cables, or holds an MPO connection in a fibre distribution panel. Part number MPOSMAPCGNCOUPLER supports 8, 12 and 24-fibre MPO/MTP connectors on OS2 single-mode or OM3/OM4 multimode links, with low 0.2 dB insertion loss for 1/10/40/100 Gbps runs and metal mounting tabs for tool-free panel installation.

Compatibility note: The coupler connects one keyed male (pinned) connector to one un-keyed female (unpinned) connector only; two males or two females cannot be mated. 16-fibre MPO/MTP connectors are not supported.
