StarTech.com S2MB-DESK-CABLE-TRAY — Under-Desk Cable Tray, 2-Pack

2 × 53 cm5 kg per trayScrew-onBlack steel

The StarTech.com S2MB-DESK-CABLE-TRAY is a pack of two slotted steel cable trays that screw to the underside of a desk, giving 106 cm of tray in total. Each 53 cm tray holds up to 5 kg of power strips, adapters and cable slack off the floor, and the slotted sides let cables drop down to the PC and up to the monitor. In practice it clears the tangle under a desk or meeting table, makes cleaning easier and stops feet catching on power leads.

Compatibility — check before buying:
Screw-on only: it mounts with screws under wooden desks at least 20 mm thick. It is not a clamp and does not suit glass, metal or thin desktops. Each tray holds up to 5 kg. Four screws are included for the two trays. Not sure about your desk? Send us its thickness and material.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I fit it without drilling?
No. It screws to the underside of the desk. It needs a wooden desktop at least 20 mm thick; there is no clamp version in this pack.
Will it hold a power strip?
Yes. StarTech.com describes it as a power bar holder, with up to 5 kg per tray.
Can I use both trays on one desk?
Yes. Mount them end to end for 106 cm, or separately under two ends of a desk.
Does it suit a standing desk?
It fits under any wooden desktop 20 mm or thicker, including sit-stand desks, so cables rise and fall with the top.
