StarTech.com SECTBLTDT — Secure Tablet Stand with Cable Lock
7.9–13″ tabletsCable lock included180° tilt · 360° turnDesk or counter
The StarTech.com SECTBLTDT is a locking desktop stand for tablets from 7.9 to 13 inches. Padded arms grip the tablet, the arms lock so it cannot be lifted out, and the included K-slot cable lock ties the whole stand to the counter. The holder tilts through 180° and turns through 360°, so the same tablet can face the customer for a signature and swing back to the staff. It suits point-of-sale counters, hotel check-in, reception sign-in, showroom catalogues and trade-show demos. StarTech.com names the iPad 10.2″, iPad Air 10.9″, iPad Pro 11″ and 12.9″, iPad mini 7.9″ and Samsung Galaxy Tab among the tablets it takes. In practice, the stand turns a tablet into a fixed terminal that stays on the counter after closing, while every port and button remains reachable for charging.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Check the thickness: the arms take tablets up to about 7.6 mm (0.3″) thick and 0.68 kg, so a tablet in a thick protective case may not fit — remove the case. The range is 7.9″ to 13″. It is a desktop stand: it stands on the desk or screws down, with no wall or VESA mounting. StarTech.com’s SECTBLTPOS is a different, enclosure-type stand for 9.7″ iPads only. Not sure it fits? Send us the model of your device, terminal or desk setup and we check it before you order.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will my iPad fit with its case on?
Only if the total thickness stays within about 7.6 mm. Most protective cases are thicker, so plan to use the tablet without its case in the stand.
Is the cable lock included?
Yes. A K-slot cable lock with 2 keys is in the box, along with desk screws if you prefer to fix the base.
Can it be wall-mounted?
No. The SECTBLTDT is a desktop stand. For wall or VESA mounting ask us about StarTech’s other secure tablet mounts.
Can I charge the tablet in the stand?
Yes. Ports and buttons stay accessible and the stand has cable-management openings for the charging lead.
Singular Expert Insight
We fit the SECTBLTDT where a tablet works as a front-desk terminal and must still be there in the morning: shop counters, hotel receptions, clinics. Take the tablet out of its case, set the spacers for your model, and run the cable lock around a fixed desk leg rather than a light chair or bin. Every order is backed by Singular’s local support in Cyprus — if something does not fit or work as expected, call us and we sort it out with you. Browse more
