The StarTech.com CABLMANAGER2 is a 1U 19-inch metal cable management panel with five removable D-ring hooks, 3 inches (about 76 mm) tall, for routing patch and power cables horizontally or vertically in standard 2-post and 4-post racks, cabinets and wiring closets.

Mounted between a patch panel and a switch, the D-rings collect the patch cords and lead them to the side of the rack, keeping ports visible and cables off the equipment faces. The two end hooks rotate by 90 degrees, so cables can also be routed vertically at the rack edges. The steel panel also closes the 1U gap it occupies, which StarTech notes helps airflow.

Before you order: The panel mounts on the front of any standard 19-inch 2-post or 4-post rack. StarTech lists only the panel and an instruction sheet in the package, so rack screws and cage nuts for your rails are not included.

  • Brush-style pass-through to the rear of the cabinet.
