The StarTech.com CMDUCT1UX is a 1U horizontal cable manager with fingers on both sides and a removable top cover, designed to sit between a switch and a patch panel in a 19" rack and hide short patch cords inside a neat slotted duct. Pass-through holes at the back let cables continue to the rear of the rack.
A covered finger duct is the classic way to make a patch field look professional: cords run from each port straight into the nearest slot, the slack lives inside the duct, and the cover closes over it. It is aimed at network cabinets in offices, server rooms and comms closets.
Before you order: Front mount only, 19" racks. The included M6 cage nuts suit square-hole rails; for threaded rails use screws matching your rack.
