StarTech.com 1U Rackmount Bracket Kit for SV431 Series KVM Switches
1U · 19-inchSV431 seriesSteelBlack
The StarTech.com SV431RACK is a 1U rackmount bracket kit that installs an SV431-series 4-port KVM switch (SV431, SV431D, SV431H) in a standard 19-inch rack. It is for IT teams who want the KVM fixed in the rack next to the servers it controls instead of sitting loose on a shelf.
The kit is made of black steel and uses one rack unit of height, so the KVM takes the minimum space in the rack.
Before you order: StarTech.com lists this kit for the SV431 series (SV431, SV431D, SV431H). It does not fit SV431DVIUDDM or SV431USBDDM - check the exact model on the label of your KVM before ordering.
What's in the Box
- 1 x rackmount bracket for the SV431-series KVM
- 1 x bag of screws
What It Means in Practice
- Fixes the KVM switch in the rack so cables stay in place and the unit does not move.
- Takes 1U of rack height.
- Screws for the KVM are included; use your rack cage nuts and screws for the rack side.
What Will Not Work
- It does not fit SV431DVIUDDM or SV431USBDDM.
- It is not a universal bracket for other KVM brands or StarTech.com series.
- It does not include the KVM switch.

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
A rack-mounted KVM is easier to reach and keeps cabling tidy. The only risk is ordering the kit for the wrong SV431 variant, so check the full model on your KVM label. Cage nuts and shelves are in our rack accessories.
✓ Buy it if you own an SV431, SV431D or SV431H KVM and want it fixed in a 19-inch rack.
✕ Skip it if your KVM is an SV431DVIUDDM, SV431USBDDM or a different series.
→ Also consider a 1U cantilever shelf if you need to rack an unsupported KVM model.
Not sure which SV431 you have? Send us the full model from the label and we will confirm the fit.
