The StarTech.com LTLOCK4D is a keyless laptop cable lock with a 4-digit resettable combination and a 2 m cut-resistant steel cable, made for devices with a standard Kensington K-Slot — the classic security slot on most business laptops, monitors, docks and projectors.

Because it uses a combination instead of keys, there is nothing to lose: set your own code from 10,000 possibilities, loop the cable around a desk leg or fixed object, and lock the head into the laptop’s slot.

• Default code is 0-0-0-0; you reset it to your own 4-digit code (StarTech uses a flathead screwdriver for the reset).

• Useful for hot desks, classrooms, receptions, trade shows and shared offices.

• Devices with a Nano Slot or Wedge slot — choose a Nano or Wedge lock instead.
