The StarTech.com ST7300USBME is the hot-cabinet hub: seven USB 3.0 ports in a steel case rated to 70 °C, with 15 kV ESD and 350 W surge protection, powered from a 7–48 V DC terminal block so it accepts 12, 24 or 48 V panel rails. It is for machine controllers, outdoor enclosures and process lines where a normal hub would cook or take a spike.
Compatibility — check before buying:
No power adapter is included and StarTech states the hub is intended for terminal-block power only; the ITB20D3250 adapter is sold separately. All ports are USB-A; no USB-C, no video, no laptop charging. BC 1.2 charging is up to 2.4 A on a port with about 31.5 W available in total, so seven phones at once will share. StarTech does not publish the length of the included host cable.

This is the industrial hub for the hottest and most electrically hostile spot on the site: 70 °C, 48 V and surge protection are the three things the cheaper ST7200USBM (USB 2.0) and 5G4AINDNP (55 °C, 24 V) do not all offer. If you need ten ports in the same conditions with an adapter included, the HB30A10AME is the bigger brother.
