A dual monitor stand that simply stands on the desk — a weighted base, no clamp and no grommet hole, which is the whole reason to choose it. It carries two 15 to 24 inch screens at 8 kg each, up to 16 kg in total, on a fixed horizontal crossbar, and StarTech covers it for five years.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Understand what this is before you order, because it is deliberately not a monitor arm. There is no clamp and no grommet fixing — the stand is free standing on a weighted base measuring 278 x 450 mm. That makes it the right answer for a glass desk, a desk you are not allowed to clamp to, or a hot desk where the stand moves with the person. It also means the base occupies desk space that a clamped arm would not. The crossbar is fixed at 25.2 inches, so the two screens sit side by side at a set spacing; there is no swivel specification published, and height adjustment is manual using a ring on the pole — there is no gas or mechanical spring at all. Set the height once and leave it. Maximum height is 40.5 cm. Screens can be 15 to 24 inches (the 15 in minimum comes from the manual), tilt +/- 15 degrees and rotate a full 360 degrees for portrait. Curved and ultrawide are not published as supported, so if that is what you have, tell us the model and we will check it.
