The StarTech.com POEINJ30W is an industrial Gigabit PoE+ midspan injector that adds up to 30 W of IEEE 802.3at power to one Ethernet link. It is made for cabinets and harsh sites: an aluminium IP30 housing, DIN-rail or wall mounting and an operating range of −40 to 75 °C. It takes 48–56 V DC through a terminal block or a barrel input (adapter included), and adds ESD, EFT, 2 kV surge, reverse-polarity and overload protection. In practice it is the way to power one PoE camera or access point from the DC supply of an industrial panel.

Compatibility — check before buying:
DC input only and no power supply in the box. It needs a 48–56 V DC source; 12 V or 24 V supplies will not work. 30 W maximum (802.3at) — 802.3bt devices that need 60 W or more are out of range. Tell us the device and your panel supply and we check the combination.
