The StarTech.com RKUNITAPE is a pack of two self-adhesive rack unit label strips that number each U position on a rack or cabinet, up to 49U, so you and your technicians can find and document equipment positions at a glance. One strip goes on the front rails and one on the rear, and each can be cut down to suit shorter racks.
Racks without U numbering make remote support harder: "the switch at U24" only helps if U24 is marked. These strips add clear numbering to older or unmarked racks, open frames and wall cabinets, and make rack diagrams and change tickets match what is physically there.

What It Means in Practice
- Numbers every rack unit so equipment positions can be recorded and communicated accurately.
