The StarTech SATDUP11 is a 1:1 standalone hard drive duplicator and eraser that clones or securely wipes 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch SATA hard drives and SSDs with no computer required. Compatibility note
Works with 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch SATA (SATA I/II/III) HDDs and SSDs of any capacity, connected via the included SATA cables (this is a standalone duplicator/eraser appliance, not a USB dock). For cloning, the target drive must be the same size or larger than the source. Secure erasing permanently and irreversibly destroys data — confirm the correct drive and backups first. It is SATA-only (not IDE/PATA) and OS-independent.
