The StarTech.com CABSHELF116V is a 1U vented cantilever shelf for 19-inch racks and cabinets, 400 mm (16") deep and rated for 20 kg, made of black SPCC cold-rolled steel — it mounts to the front rails only, so it fits virtually any 19" rack, including 2-post open frames.
Use it for equipment that has no rack ears: modems, routers, small switches, NAS units, mini PCs or monitors. The vented shelf plate lets air circulate around the device, and StarTech.com includes the M6 cage nuts, screws and cup washers needed to install it.
Before you order: Being a cantilever (front-mount) shelf, all 20 kg hangs from the two front rails. Keep heavy items near the front edge and do not exceed the rating. The shelf is EIA/ECA-310-E compliant and uses M6 hardware.
