The Targus HyperShield HS5910GL is a keyed cable lock for MacBook Pro 14-inch and 16-inch models with Apple silicon, which attaches with a tool-less clamp on the MacBook Pro’s air vent — the answer for MacBook users who have no security slot to lock to.
There is no adhesive and no screws, so nothing is stuck to or drilled into the laptop, and the ports stay usable while it is locked. The 2 m galvanised, sleeved steel cable loops around a desk leg or fixed object, and two identical keys are included.
Before you order: Designed for MacBook Pro 14" and 16" with Apple silicon only. It does not fit 13-inch MacBook Pro, Intel-based MacBook Pro or any MacBook Air — check your exact model before ordering.
