Hyper is Targus's charging and connectivity brand, and the HyperPack reads like a bag designed by people who carry a hub, a power bank and four cables every day. Three compartments, dedicated charging pockets with cable pass-throughs so a power bank can live inside the bag and feed a phone outside it, hidden back pockets against your spine, and a moulded slot for a Bluetooth tracker. The shell is 1200D recycled RPET polyester and the whole thing weighs a kilogram empty.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Rated for laptops up to 16", carried in a suspended, fleece-lined pocket that keeps the machine off the bottom of the bag. Hyper does not publish a dedicated tablet compartment or a tablet size for this model - tablets are mentioned only in the charging claim, not as a fitted slot. If you need a padded tablet sleeve as a separate compartment, check the layout before ordering. Note also that Hyper and Targus publish two different capacity figures for the same SKU: 22 litres on hypershop.com and 21 litres on the Targus EU and UK sites.

Three compartments, not one big sack
Hyper splits the bag into three, so the laptop, the daily kit and the cables do not end up in the same space fighting each other.
Suspended fleece-lined laptop pocket
The laptop pocket is suspended rather than sitting on the base of the bag, so a drop onto the pavement does not transmit straight into the machine. The fleece lining protects the lid finish.
Charging pockets with cable pass-throughs
Dedicated pockets for a power bank, with cable routes out to your phone, AirPods or tablet. Chargers and cables are not included - this is a routing system, not a battery.
1200D recycled RPET shell
Made from 1200D recycled RPET polyester, which Hyper describes as the equivalent of 20 recycled water bottles. Hyper does not publish a recycled percentage, only that equivalence.
Water-resistant zippers
Hyper describes an abrasion and weather-resistant exterior with water-resistant interlocking zippers. There is no IP rating and no waterproof claim.
Built-in tracker pocket
A moulded silicone pocket for a Bluetooth locator, compatible with the HyperShield Universal Locator. The tracker is not included.
Hidden back pockets and luggage slide
Pockets on the panel that sits against your back, for a wallet or passport, plus a pass-through slide that drops over a suitcase handle.
Carry comfort

The HyperPack is a charging-brand backpack, and it shows in the details that matter: the cable pass-throughs are properly integrated rather than an afterthought hole, and the suspended laptop pocket is the kind of thing you notice the first time you put the bag down hard. Two honest caveats. First, the capacity figure is inconsistent across Hyper's and Targus's own websites - 22 litres on one, 21 on the other, for the same part number - so we publish both rather than pick one. Second, do not let the HyperPack Pro's marketing bleed into this model: the Pro has RFID shielding and Find My integration, this one has neither. It is also not the bag for anyone who needs a dedicated, padded tablet compartment, since Hyper does not publish one.
