Targus 4Vu Magnetic Privacy Screen for 15.6-inch Laptops (16:10)
15.6″ 16:10MagneticTouchscreen compatibleGlossy or matte
The Targus 4Vu ASM156W1GL is a magnetic privacy screen for 15.6-inch laptops with a 16:10 display. Seen from the front the screen stays clear, but from more than 30 degrees to either side it goes dark, so neighbours on a train or in an open office cannot read it. It attaches magnetically: the included magnetic adhesive strips go on the laptop bezel, and the filter snaps on and off in seconds. It is reversible glossy/matte, touchscreen compatible, reduces blue light by nearly 40% according to Targus, and carries DefenseGuard antimicrobial protection. In practice it is a privacy filter you can put on for a train journey and take off at the desk without tabs or hinges.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Check size and ratio: 15.6-inch, 16:10. The filter measures 33.7 × 21.4 cm. It will not fit a 15.6-inch 16:9 laptop or a 16-inch 16:10 laptop correctly — measure your screen’s visible area before ordering. The magnetic strips stick to the bezel around the screen, so laptops with very thin bezels may leave little room for them. Send us the laptop model and we confirm the right filter.
