The Techly IDATA HDMI-KVM2 is an HDMI KVM extender set — a transmitter and a receiver — that carries Full HD video (up to 1920x1080 at 60Hz) and audio plus USB keyboard and mouse over a single network cable up to 120 m. It lets you operate a computer from a remote console: the PC stays in a server room, a cabinet or behind a counter while the user works at a screen, keyboard and mouse somewhere else.
The units support STP and UTP Cat5/5e/6 cable and the 802.3 Ethernet standard (10/100/1000 Mbps). Each unit has its own 5V power supply (both included), LED indicators for power and USB link, and a sturdy aluminium-alloy housing.
Before you order: Video is Full HD only (HDMI 1.3, HDCP 1.2) — 4K sources will need to output 1080p. USB is intended for keyboard and mouse. Techly lists Windows operating systems up to Windows 10 for the KVM function; ask us before using it with macOS or Linux.
