The Techly ICOC-DSP-V-018 is a 1.8 m converter cable with a DisplayPort plug on one end and a VGA (HD-15) plug on the other, for connecting a modern PC, thin client or graphics card to an older VGA monitor or projector. The digital-to-analogue conversion is built into the cable, so there is no separate adapter box, and it supports resolutions up to 1920×1200.

Compatibility note: Works one way only: DisplayPort computer to VGA display. It will not connect a VGA laptop to a DisplayPort monitor. VGA is analogue video only, so no audio is carried.
