The Techly IDATA EXTIP-373 is an HDMI over IP extender/splitter kit (transmitter + receiver) that converts HDMI into a standard TCP/IP signal and carries Full HD 1080p/60Hz up to 120 m over Cat6 (100 m on Cat5e), with the option to feed up to 253 receivers through a switch.
It suits shops, restaurants, schools and offices that want one source on one or several screens using network cabling. Through switches or repeaters the link can be cascaded further, and HD audio formats pass inside the HDMI signal.
Before you order: Techly recommends a dedicated network or separate port-based VLAN because of the high bandwidth. Additional screens need additional Techly receivers for this system — ask us for the matching model.

What It Means in Practice
- One screen up to 120 m away with a direct Cat6 run, or many screens through a switch.
- Every extra screen needs one more compatible Techly receiver.
- Each unit uses its own 5V DC power supply (two included).
- Keep HDMI cables at each end within 5 m.
- Plan a separate VLAN or network for video so office traffic is not affected.
What Will Not Work
- It does not support 4K — the maximum is 1080p.
- It does not carry keyboard or mouse.
- It is not PoE powered.
- It is not ideal on a busy shared office LAN without a dedicated VLAN.
- It does not support 3D, according to Techly.

Its success depends on the network: use a capable Gigabit switch from our Gigabit network switches range and keep video on its own VLAN. For a single screen at short distance, a passive-path Cat6 extender is simpler.

✕ Skip it if you need 4K, keyboard/mouse control or PoE-powered units.
