TELESTAR TOP 200 Wood — DAB+, FM & Internet Radio

DAB+ / FM / InternetWi-Fi & Bluetooth10 W speakerRemote included

The TELESTAR TOP 200 Wood (part number 5701200) is a mono table radio that combines DAB+, FM and internet radio over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi with Bluetooth, in a wood-look cabinet. A 3-inch speaker delivers 10 W, and a 2.4-inch colour TFT display, dimmable with a night mode, shows stations and clock. It stores 100 DAB+, 100 FM and 500 internet stations, with four direct buttons on the front and a remote control in the box. A USB 2.0 port plays and records music and charges a phone, a 3.5 mm AUX input connects another player, and there is a headphone jack, alarm clock, sleep timer and the Soundmate app for iOS and Android. In practice, it is a kitchen or living-room radio that reaches thousands of internet stations from around the world as well as local DAB+ and FM, controlled from the sofa or your phone.

Compatibility — check before buying:
It runs from the mains only — there is no battery. Internet radio needs 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. It is the mono model (1 × 10 W, 19.1 cm wide); for stereo sound, choose the TOP 250, which needs a different 1.5 A adapter. Check the code: 5701200 is the TOP 200 Wood and 5701250 the TOP 250 Wood. TELESTAR builds this model for the German market and does not state the plug type of the power adapter. Cyprus uses UK three-pin (BS 1363) sockets, so ask us and we confirm the plug and supply a suitable adapter if one is needed. DAB+ reception depends on transmitter coverage where you use it; where there is no DAB+ signal, FM still works. Not sure it suits your setup? Tell us how you want to use it and we check before you order.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it have a battery?
No. The TOP 200 runs from its external mains adapter only. For a battery radio, see the TOP 100.
What is the difference between the TOP 200 and TOP 250?
The TOP 200 is mono with one 10 W speaker and 19.1 cm wide. The TOP 250 is stereo with two 10 W speakers, 27.6 cm wide, and adds Journaline and Bluetooth send and receive.
Does internet radio need a subscription?
No subscription is needed for internet radio; it needs your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. The Soundmate app lets you control it from a phone.
Will the plug fit Cypriot sockets?
TELESTAR does not publish the plug type. Cyprus uses UK three-pin sockets, so ask us and we confirm and supply an adapter if needed.
