TELESTAR TOP 550 — Hi-Fi Receiver with DAB+, Internet Radio & CD

2 × 30 W amplifierCD playerHDMI ARCSpeakers not included

The TELESTAR TOP 550 (part number 5700550) is a 43 cm hi-fi all-in-one receiver that combines DAB+, FM and internet radio, a CD player, Bluetooth and a built-in 2 × 30 W stereo amplifier for passive speakers. It connects to the network over dual-band 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi or LAN, plays the streaming services TELESTAR lists, supports UPnP and USB playback and recording, and has an HDMI ARC input so the TV sound plays through your speakers. Optical, coaxial and line inputs, digital and analogue outputs and a subwoofer output make it the hub of a small system. In practice, add a pair of passive bookshelf speakers and you have a complete hi-fi for radio, CDs, streaming and TV sound, controlled by one remote.

Compatibility — check before buying:
Speakers are not included: the TOP 550 needs passive speakers of 4, 6 or 8 Ω, connected to its screw terminals. It is not for active (powered) speakers on the speaker terminals. It looks like the TOP 500, which is a tuner with no amplifier and no CD — check the code before you order. TELESTAR builds this model for the German market and does not state the plug type of the power adapter. Cyprus uses UK three-pin (BS 1363) sockets, so ask us and we confirm the plug and supply a suitable adapter if one is needed. DAB+ reception depends on transmitter coverage where you use it; where there is no DAB+ signal, FM still works. Not sure it suits your setup? Tell us how you want to use it and we check before you order.

Singular Expert Insight
The TOP 550 is the part we suggest for customers who want one box for radio, CDs, streaming and TV sound: add passive bookshelf speakers and it is a complete system. If you already own an amplifier, the TOP 500 tuner is enough. Every order is backed by Singular’s local support in Cyprus. Browse our speakers and radios for more.
