Does the T598X work with PlayStation 5?
No. The T598X is licensed for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Windows 10/11) only. For PlayStation 5 and PS4, see the Thrustmaster T598S — same Direct Drive hardware, different platform firmware and licensing. The two versions are not cross-compatible.
What makes Direct Axial Drive different from a belt-driven wheel?
Belt-driven wheels route motor torque through a belt, adding mechanical flex between motor and steering column.
