TP-Link Archer TXE75E — AXE5400 Wi-Fi 6E PCIe Adapter with Bluetooth
Wi-Fi 6E tri-bandAXE5400Bluetooth 5.2Windows 10/11 64-bit
The TP-Link Archer TXE75E is an AXE5400 tri-band Wi-Fi 6E PCIe adapter with Bluetooth 5.2 that gives a desktop PC up to 2402 Mbps on the 6 GHz band, 2402 Mbps on 5 GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, with two high-gain antennas on a magnetic base — aimed at gamers, home offices and anyone whose desktop sits far from the router.
It uses an Intel Wi-Fi 6E chipset (per TP-Link) and adds Bluetooth for headsets, controllers and peripherals through the included header cable to a motherboard USB 2.0 header. The magnetic antenna base on a 1 m cable lets you place the antennas on top of the desk instead of behind the case, which noticeably improves reception.
Before you order: Windows 11 and Windows 10, 64-bit only. The 6 GHz band works only on Windows 11 and needs a Wi-Fi 6E router or access point. Bluetooth needs a free internal USB 2.0 header on the motherboard.
What's in the Box
- Archer TXE75E PCIe adapter
- Magnetized antenna base with 1 m RF cable
- 2 high-gain tri-band antennas
- Low-profile bracket
- Bluetooth header cable
- Quick Installation Guide
- Resource CD
What It Means in Practice
- On a Wi-Fi 6E router, the 6 GHz band avoids the congestion of 2.4 and 5 GHz, giving lower latency for gaming and video calls.
- With a Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 5 router it still works on 5 and 2.4 GHz at that router's speed.
- The magnetic base sticks to the PC case or sits on the desk; raising the antennas above the desk usually improves signal.
- The low-profile bracket makes it suitable for slim desktop cases too.
What Will Not Work
- Windows 7, 8.1 or 32-bit Windows, macOS and Linux — TP-Link lists Windows 10/11 64-bit only.
- 6 GHz on Windows 10 — 6 GHz needs Windows 11.
- Bluetooth if the motherboard has no free USB 2.0 header.
- Laptops, or PCs without a free PCIe slot.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a Wi-Fi 6E router?
Only for the 6 GHz band. With any Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 5 router the card works on 5 and 2.4 GHz.
Why does Bluetooth not appear?
Bluetooth runs through the included cable to a USB 2.0 header on the motherboard. Without that cable connected, Windows only sees the Wi-Fi.
Does it fit a slim case?
Yes — a low-profile bracket is included.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
The TXE75E is worth it when the router is Wi-Fi 6E and the PC runs Windows 11; otherwise you pay for a band you cannot use. Check the motherboard for a free USB 2.0 header if Bluetooth matters. For a matching network, see our
routers.
✓ Buy it if you have a Windows 11 desktop and a Wi-Fi 6E router, or plan to upgrade to one.
✕ Skip it if you use Windows 7/8 or Linux, or your PC has no free PCIe slot.
→ Also consider a USB Wi-Fi adapter if you cannot open the PC.
