TP-Link VIGI C430 2.8 mm — 3MP Full-Color turret Network Camera
3MP 2304×12962.8 mm · 107° HColour night vision up to 30 mPoE · ONVIF · H.265+
The TP-Link VIGI C430 with the 2.8 mm lens is a 3MP full-colour turret network camera for businesses, shops and homes that want a wired, recorder-based CCTV system rather than a cloud gadget. The 2.8 mm lens is the wide option: about 107° across, enough to cover a shop floor, reception or room from one corner. Two white LEDs keep night footage in colour up to 30 m. It is powered over the network cable from a PoE switch, records to a VIGI NVR or any ONVIF recorder, and is managed from the free VIGI app or VIGI Security Manager software. Part number VIGI C430(2.8mm) is the 2.8 mm version; the same camera is sold with other lenses, so check the field of view below before you order.
Compatibility — check before buying:
In the box: camera, quick start guide, mounting accessories. Not in the box: PoE switch or injector, 12 V power adapter, network cable, NVR. Power is not included: you need an 802.3af/at PoE switch or injector, or a 12 V DC adapter (5.5 mm plug). There is no memory-card slot — recording needs a VIGI NVR or another ONVIF recorder. It has no Wi-Fi; it needs a network cable to a switch. C430 is not C430I. The C430 has white LEDs for colour night vision; the C430I is the infrared-only version with black-and-white night footage, and they look almost identical. TP-Link does not publish an IP rating for this turret, so for an exposed outdoor wall choose a bullet with IP67. Not sure it fits your setup? Tell us your router, switch or recorder model and we check it for you.

Singular Expert Insight
The C430 is the value full-colour turret of the VIGI range. The 2.8 mm lens suits most indoor spaces; move to 4 mm only if the area you watch is long and narrow. The current spec page lists no card slot for this model, so plan recording on a VIGI NVR with surveillance hard drives, powered by one of our PoE switches. More options are in our IP cameras section.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You want a wide 107° view with colour night vision in a small PoE turret for indoor or covered areas.
Skip it if
You need two-way audio (look at the C440), a published outdoor IP rating, or longer reach than a 2.8 mm lens gives.
Also consider
VIGI C430 4 mm for more reach; VIGI C440 (4MP, speaker, microSD) for two-way talk.
