The TP-Link RackMount Kit-D226 is a metal rack mount kit that lets a 226 mm wide TP-Link desktop device — mainly Omada gateways such as the ER7206, ER7212PC and ER707-M2 — be fixed in a standard 19" rack or network cabinet. TP-Link sells these devices without rack ears, so without the kit they have to lie on a shelf.
The kit bolts to the rack-mount holes on the sides of a supported device and then to the 19" rails of the cabinet, holding the router or switch firmly at the front of the rack with its ports and LEDs visible. It is the tidy alternative to a shelf in cabinets where every rack unit counts.
Compatibility is by exact model and hardware version, so check the label on the underside of your device (for example "ER7206 V2.20") against the list below before ordering.
Before you order: Only for 226 mm wide TP-Link devices that have rack-mount holes and appear in TP-Link’s compatibility list — check the model and hardware version (Vx.x) on your device label.

What It Means in Practice
- Supported per TP-Link datasheets: ER7212PC, ER7206, ER707-M2, ER706W, ER706W-4G, ER706WP-4G, ER7410PC-M2, DR3650v, DR3650v-4G and the SG2210XMP-M2 switch — hardware versions matter.
- TP-Link’s own check: if the mounting holes and hole spacing on your device match the kit, it fits.
- One kit is for one device; TP-Link does not describe mounting two devices side by side.
- Once mounted, leave the side vents clear — do not block them with cable bundles.
What Will Not Work
- Devices that are not 226 mm wide, or that have no rack-mount holes, cannot use this kit.
- Older or newer hardware versions outside TP-Link’s list are not guaranteed to fit, even with the same model name.
- It does not fit 10" racks.
- It is not a shelf — it will not hold ISP modems or other unsupported devices.
