The TP-Link UH720 is a powered desk hub with seven USB 3.0 Type-A data ports at up to 5 Gbps on the front and two dedicated smart-charging ports on the side that supply up to 2.4 A for phones and tablets. The 12 V / 3.3 A adapter is included, as is a 1 m USB-A-to-Micro-B host cable, and TP-Link builds in over-heat, over-current, over-voltage and short-circuit protection with a power button. Part number UH720 measures 165 × 65.5 × 17.5 mm; the two charging ports are charge-only.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Host connection is USB-A (Micro-B socket on the hub, cable included); USB-C-only laptops need an adapter, not included. The two side ports are charge-only — no data. TP-Link states the seven data ports share a maximum of 3.5 A, and describes the charging ports as 2.4 A with a total of 2.4 A when charging simultaneously, so treat 2.4 A as the ceiling rather than 2 × 2.4 A guaranteed. No video, no Ethernet, no host charging.
