The VIGI C455 pairs a broad 2.8 mm view with wired PoE installation for an entrance, shop floor or building perimeter. Its turret form allows flexible cable routing through a ceiling or side outlet. Human/vehicle classification and active light-and-sound responses add event tools beyond basic recording. Aim the camera manually during installation; this model does not provide motorized pan/tilt.

The 111.4° horizontal view favors coverage of nearby areas. Use the documented DORI distances as planning references, then verify detail at the actual site.
 
Choose illumination and event response
Infrared and white LEDs provide separate night-view options. Human/vehicle classification, audible warnings and white-light flashing can be configured around the monitored area.
 
Account for the analytics trade-off
True WDR is rated at 120 dB, but enabling People & Vehicle Analytics uses DWDR instead. Choose the analytics settings around both the scene contrast and the event search requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I turn this camera remotely like a PTZ model?
No. Pan, tilt and rotation in this datasheet describe manual installation adjustment. Choose a motorized PTZ camera if you need to change the viewing direction remotely.
Will corridor rotation retain 30 fps?
No. A 90° or 270° image rotation limits the specified output to 20 fps. Normal orientation supports up to 25 fps at 50 Hz or 30 fps at 60 Hz.
Can I use this with an existing recorder?
ONVIF Profile S is specified, but advanced VIGI analytics need the specified VIGI software. Check the recorder’s codec, resolution and event support before assuming every feature is available.
