Dual-band Wi-Fi 7 mesh for a connected home
BE3600 Wi-Fi 7Two-unit EU kit2× Gigabit ports per unitRouter or access point
The TP-Link Deco BE22 EU two-pack creates a coordinated home mesh network using two compact white Wi-Fi 7 units. The BE3600 wireless class combines up to 2882Mbps on 5GHz and 688Mbps on 2.4GHz, while each unit provides two autosensing Gigabit WAN/LAN ports. Use router mode for network routing or access-point mode with an existing router, with setup and management through the Deco app.
Best For: Homes needing two mesh nodes, compatible Wi-Fi clients and Gigabit Ethernet connections, with the option of Ethernet backhaul.
Before you order: This is dual-band 2.4/5GHz Wi-Fi 7: there is no 6GHz band. Ethernet ports are 1Gbps, so this kit is not a multi-gigabit wired router. An appropriate ISP modem or ONT and active service are required as applicable. Wireless headline rates are aggregate PHY rates, not guaranteed Internet or single-device throughput.
What's in the Box
- 2× Deco BE22 units for the EU two-pack.
- 2× power adapters, 1× RJ45 Ethernet cable and quick installation guide.
- ISP equipment, additional nodes and extra Ethernet cabling are separate.
What It Means in Practice
- Connect the main Deco to the Internet handoff and place the second node where it retains a good connection to the mesh.
- Use the Deco app to configure the network and select router or access-point mode as appropriate.
- Ethernet backhaul is supported; account for the ports occupied by WAN and backhaul cables.
- Compatible clients can use MLO and other Wi-Fi 7 features, while supported older Wi-Fi devices can join the network.
What Will Not Work
- No 6GHz radio or 2.5Gbps Ethernet is specified.
- Each unit has two Ethernet ports in total; one port can serve as WAN at a time.
- Roaming, MLO and peak wireless performance depend on client support, firmware, placement and interference.
- Some advanced HomeShield services require a separate subscription; coverage depends on the building.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does Wi-Fi 7 mean it has 6GHz?
No. This exact BE22 is dual-band on 2.4GHz and 5GHz.
Are the ports 2.5Gbps?
No. Each unit has two Gigabit Ethernet WAN/LAN ports.
How many units are included?
This exact EU package contains two Deco BE22 units and two power adapters.
Can the nodes use a cable between them?
Yes. Ethernet backhaul is supported; allocate ports and cabling for the chosen topology.
Is all HomeShield functionality free?
No. Some advanced HomeShield services require a paid subscription. Check current TP-Link plans for the desired functions.
Singular Expert Insight
Match the kit to the connection plan before comparing wireless class numbers. BE3600 describes combined radio rates; the Gigabit ports define the wired connection ceiling. For a two-node home setup, careful placement or Ethernet backhaul can matter more than the headline rate.
Buyer’s Guide
✓ Buy it if You want a two-unit Deco mesh with dual-band Wi-Fi 7 and Gigabit wired connections.
✕ Skip it if You require a 6GHz radio, multi-gigabit Ethernet or an integrated DSL/cellular modem.
→ Also consider ISP handoff, node placement, backhaul cabling, client Wi-Fi support and any desired HomeShield subscription.
