The TP-Link Deco BE25-Outdoor EU one-pack adds a weather-resistant mesh node for outdoor or indoor placement. Its dual-band Wi-Fi7 radio is rated up to2882Mbps on5GHz and688Mbps on2.4GHz, with two2.5Gbps autosensing WAN/LAN ports. Power it from a suitable802.3at PoE source or the supplied AC power cord, and use the wall/pole mounting kit where appropriate.
Best For: Extending a compatible Deco network towards a garden, terrace or outdoor work area with suitable cabling and installation.
Before you order: This is one EU BE3600 unit, not the US BE5000 version or a multi-unit kit. It has2.4/5GHz wireless and no6GHz band. IP65 requires upright installation with the waterproof cover and cable seals secured; it does not permit immersion. The supplied Ethernet cable is for indoor use only. A PoE source is separate, and installation must follow the regional radio and electrical instructions.

- The included Ethernet cable is indoor-only. An802.3at PoE switch/injector, outdoor-rated cabling, ISP modem and additional Deco nodes are not listed as included.
What It Means in Practice
- Use the Deco app on a compatible iOS or Android device for setup and network management.
- Select router mode or access-point mode to suit the existing modem/router arrangement.
- Supply power through an802.3at PoE source providing at least19.5W, or through the AC input using the supplied cord and a suitable protected socket.
- Have an instructed/skilled installer mount the unit upright and secure the waterproof cover, cable seals and unused openings.
- Use appropriate outdoor Ethernet cable and follow the guide for socket protection, cable shielding/grounding and permitted regional outdoor radio settings.
- Place the node where it has a usable wired or wireless backhaul; mesh cannot create bandwidth where the upstream signal is weak.
What Will Not Work
- Not a6GHz tri-band router and not a US BE5000 radio specification.
- The Ethernet ports accept PoE power; no PoE output for powering a camera is claimed.
- IP65 is not immersion protection or unconditional lightning immunity.
- Headline wireless rates are combined PHY values, not guaranteed Internet or single-client throughput.
- Advanced HomeShield functions may require a paid subscription, and Wi-Fi7 features require compatible clients and firmware.
